Mesa Arch is the most photographed arch in Canyonlands National Park. While it is often upstaged by the many famous arches in its neighboring National Park (Arches), Mesa Arch is truly unique. The view through the arch's opening is by far the best part. The red rock formations and carved canyon floor serving as a backdrop to this unique arch are not something you will get the opportunity to view at Arches. The arch is also relatively accessible at only a 1 mile, relatively easy, hike round trip. It's definitely a must-do when visiting the Island in the Sky section of the park.
