Buckingham Palace is extra impressive in the summer with all of the flowers sprouting up around it. We were able to tour the State Rooms (only open to the public during certain summer months) which was a special treat. The summer is probably the best time to visit London. We didn’t have any rain (probably lucky) during our visit, the temperature was comfortable, and citizens and tourists alike were out enjoying the fine weather. It was a perfect time to wander around the city taking in all of the sights.
