I love all of the historic European cities at night. Floodlights always seem to be set to catch a dome or the facade of a building at just the right angle. Salzburg is no exception. From the cathedral below to the castle above, everything about the city shouts romance in the evening. This view from one of Salzburg’s many bridges is beautiful at any time of day but it is truly spectacular at night.
