Venice is famous for its many gondolas and their uniformed drivers. When not rowing the waterways, you can find the city's gondolas docked and carefully covered, well cared for by the men who make their livelihood steering them down the canals. I love this picture with the sun just beginning to set and the beautiful old building in the background with its classic venetian-shaped windows and front door opening directly out onto the water.
