Perast is most well known for its man-made island with Our Lady of the Rock Church. However, the city's waterfront is also very appealing. With Montenegro’s black mountains for which the country was named looming in the background and the blue waters of the bay in the front, it the town has some very postcard-perfect views. The palm trees and orange rooftops add to the city's ambience and make it feel like a tropical vacation destination.
