Bamboo Island is my favorite of the Phi Phi Islands. Unlike it’s biggest sister, Phi Phi Don which is relatively commercialized or its most famous sister Phi Phi Ley (where they filmed the movie “The Beach” with Leonardo DiCaprio), this island offers a bit of peace and tranquility. I found that rare feeling of “paradise” here that I didn’t get in the other more crowded locations. I could have sat here in the surf enjoying the blue water and amazing view all day long.
