The Amalfi Coast is breathtaking, particularly the way the buildings seem to be built straight up the cliffsides as if stuck on by superglue. It is quite spectacular to see how builders have been able to take the limited surface given to them and incorporate their work into the rock. The town of Amalfi, where this photo was taken, has a jetty that juts straight into the sea. It’s an idyllic spot to sit and enjoy the view and ponder just how the architects have managed to do it.
