The Great Wall of China is just as impressive in person as you would expect. At 5,500 miles long, you could stretch the Great Wall across the United States back and forth and still make it nearly back a third time before you ran out of wall. Walking even a tiny section of the stairs that make up the wall, it’s hard to imagine that humans built this entire structure. Experiencing it in person was a once in a lifetime experience.
