Tangier’s local market has every fresh food item you can imagine (except for pork). There is a huge fish section, butchered meats, nuts, fruits, vegetables, flowers, and cheeses. On occasion, the local berber women come in from the hills with their fresh goat cheese and work in the market wrapping it in palm leaves to sell. It looked absolutely delicious!
