The Hospital of the Holy Spirit in Nuremberg, Germany is one of the most photographed sights in the old city. Built between 1332 and 1339, it was founded to help the poor, a sort of medieval free health care. The way it arches over the river (an addition put on in the 1500s) makes the site especially eye-catching.
