Rothenburg ob der Tauber’s walls are one of the top attractions in the tiny city. The views over the city from atop the walls are beautiful. It’s definitely worth the effort to walk the perimeter. This city is one of my favorite places in Germany, despite the crush of tourists during the day. Staying overnight is a pure pleasure. The evening is relaxing and quiet--you can truly enjoy the city peacefully during this time of day.
