Lake Bled has some of the most crystal clear water I have ever encountered. The whole lake looks an icy blue, especially from above where the sky reflects off the lake's glass-smooth surface. I could spend a week relaxing here and not get bored–and I never relax. There is boating, swimming, a path around the lake (you can stroll, jog, or bike), a fun toboggan run that goes down the hill facing the lake, and more amazing desserts than you can eat you way through! Bled is famous for its cream cakes, and even if the lake weren't this beautiful, it would be worth a visit just for that alone!
