It's that time of year again. The Washington, D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival draws people from around the world. We are lucky enough to only live a short distance away from it and finally decided to check it out this past year. We were rewarded with perfect weather, beautiful scenery, a prime blossom date, and close-up time with plenty of other tourists! The beauty and fragrance of these trees surrounding the water basin made it worth the trip. Throw in a couple of Washington, D.C.’s top Monuments (the Jefferson Memorial and Washington Monument) as backdrop, and you couldn’t ask for much more!
