The Bahía de Cochones–or Bay of Pigs in English–is a gorgeous, cerulean blue bay filled with tropical fish located on the southern coast of Cuba. However, it is best known to most Americans as the site of the failed 1961 CIA sponsored invasion of Cuba. Today, it is an ecotourism site, popular diving/snorkeling spot, and perfect sunbathing destination. It rivals any popular caribbean destination in terms of beautiful, crystal-clear water and calm surf.
