Český Krumlov River (Český Krumlov, Czech Republic)

Czech Republic- Cesky Krumlov Water and Castle 1

1.7.2013- Český Krumlov is an adorable little medieval village in the south of the Czech Republic complete with a river snaking its way through the center of town.  In summer, people tube down it taking in the sights as they go (a joy I didn’t get to experience having visited in October and not personally being a polar bear plunger).  The castle was impeccably restored and has won awards for historical accuracy.  It’s definitely worth a look (tours in English are available daily).  Spending a night in this cobbled old town is definitely worth a stop over when heading south from Prague.
