La Mezquita de Córdoba (Cordoba, Spain)

11.27.2012- The Mezquita of Córdoba has been a church–St. Vincent’s, a mosque–The Mezquita, and then a church again–the Catedral de Córdoba, its official name currently.  The site began its history around 600 A.D. and advanced to the way it looks today over the next 1100 years.  The most recognizable feature of the site is the candy-cane striped arches the Moors added to the site that seem to go on for infinity.
