Reichstag at Night (Berlin, Germany)

10.16.2012- The Reichstag–the parliament building in Berlin–has a sad and complicated history.  The building caught fire in 1933 under mysterious circumstances helping to catapult Hitler further into the dictatorial power he became.  Today, the building once again represents democracy.  The glass dome can now be climbed by locals and tourists alike.  Looking down on the rulers from above, you can feel the transparency they try so hard to provide today to their constituents.
