Giralda Tower (Sevilla, Spain)

10.15.2012- Sevilla is one of the most historic cities in Spain.  The Alcazar, Cathedral, and Giralda Bell Tower are some of my favorites.  The Giralada Tower (pictured here) started out as a minaret of a mosque.  In the sixteenth century, it was topped with a five story bell tower by the Christians.  You can just make out the huge, thirteen foot weather vane sitting on top.  At night, the Tower is lit up and even prettier than during the daytime.
