Harbor of the Rich & Famous (Monaco-Ville, Monaco)

10.4.2012- The principality of Monaco is less than a square mile large–one of the smallest “countries” in the world.  When people think of Monaco, they automatically think of Monte Carlo, but while that is the most famous district of Monaco, it is split into 3 separate parts.  The second most famous, Monaco-Ville, is where this picture was taken from.  This section houses the government buildings and main cathedral (as well as Princess Grace Kelly’s final resting place).  The yachts dotting the harbor, which can just barely be made out from this picture, are among the largest in the world.  Monaco appears true to its nickname: the sunny place for shady people (referring to being a tax haven).
