Marketplace Shoes (Tangier, Morocco)

9.26.2012- Morocco is one of the most interesting countries I have been able to travel to thus far.  It was the first Muslim nation I was ever in and the first time I had ever visited Africa.  So, it was a completely new experience to me.  I was surprised by just how different it was –everything from the language and alphabet to the way of life.  The markets were especially interesting and fun to browse (just watch out for the pushy salesmen).  I definitely felt the need to bring a pair of shoes home after seeing these, and after much negotiating, I got a good price, too!
