Meghan, love the website outstanding job, Ray.
Hi Meghan,
Awesome web site!
Panning a trip to Spain in November, your suggestion regarding taking a detour to Morocco sounds very interesting. We are looking to do Madrid, Toledo, Cordoba, Granada and Seville. We have only 61/2 days.
How long did it take you to do Morocco, was it a day in Morocco and 2days for before and after? Just truing to see if we can afford to do that time wise. In case decide on going, could you give us the name of the guide in Morocco please?
Thank you very much.
You’re planning to see all of those places in 6.5 days? We often have very ambitious travel itineraries and that’s even too much for me. We did something similar but with a bit more time. We went from Madrid (spent 2 nights there) to Toledo (for a few hours) and back as a day trip then from Madrid we drove to Cordoba, spent the night, then drove to Granada and stayed a night, then drove to Tarifa (where we took the ferry to Morocco from) and spent the night–enroure we stopped off in Gibraltar–trying to get to Gibraltar the traffic was so bad that I don’t recommend doing that unless you really want to see it. The next morning we took the ferry to Morocco, we got back around 6pm and drove to Sevilla then and spent 2 nights there. From there we actually went to Portugal. Our guide was great, perfect English–he speaks 6 languages. His name is Aziz Begdouri. You can reach him at aziztour@hotmail.com. Very reasonable, met us right at the boat, kept the market people from hawking us selling things, and dropped us off right at the dock. Be sure to do the Grand Tour and ride a camel if you go! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience.
Wow! I am so impressed! Go Meghan and please take me with you sometime! Love, aunt Francine
